NASHVILLE, TN—The Nashville-based singer/songwriter, Melody Guy, will release her 10^th solo effort, Dry The Rivers, on January 25, 2019, on her own MFG Records.

A uniquely gifted songwriter, performer and vocal powerhouse, Melody Guy’s songs weave tales that resonate with music lovers across a wide range of styles. A blend of rock, country, Americana, pop and soul, Guy’s songs deeply touch her fans and inspire them to follow her through a life’s journey of love, loss and independent triumph of the spirit. Artists of varying genres have recorded her songs from Sherrie Austin to Jesse James.

Guy tours the country year-round as a troubadour, living in her van all the while supporting her son who is “on the spectrum.” Her live performances with her band have garnered much attention, having shared the stage with Keith Urban, The Avett Brothers, Leon Russell and Tanya Tucker, where Melody earned a standing ovation at the famed Ryman Auditorium for her signature song, “Mistakes Like Me.”

Dry The Rivers features 12 originals songs written by Guy or co-written by Guy partnered with a diverse array of songwriters including Grammy®-winning songwriter, Ray Stephenson (“Hemingway’s Whiskey”, “Red River Blue”); Donnie Skaggs ( “Something Stronger Than Me”); Chris Crawford (“I Love You, That’s All”);  Zack Lyle (“Good Morning Beautiful”); and Rick Tiger (“What Will You Do With M.E.”). BAND ANNOUNCES FALL WINTER/SPRING 2019 TOUR DATES

NASHVILLE, TN–We Banjo 3, an award-winning band from Galway, is pleased to announce their latest release, Haven, is # 1 AGAIN  on this week’s Billboard’s Bluegrass chart (over Steve Martin and The Steep Canyon Rangers, Punch Brothers and Old Crow Medicine Show).  Haven was released on July 27th and spent the first two weeks of August in the # 1 position on the Billboard Bluegrass Chart and has been on the charts for 6 weeks.

ATHENS, GA–Pylon Reenactment Society will release a 7” vinyl single of two new original songs, “Messenger” and “Cliff Notes”, on Friday, November 30^th on Chunklet Industries. “Messenger” is a mid tempo meditation on love, war and modern communication. “Cliff Notes” jumps right in at breakneck speed. The lyrics mix silly dance moves with anti-racist admonitions for the precipice we find ourselves on today.

Pylon Reenactment Society is fronted by former Pylon front woman Vanessa Briscoe Hay, whose inimitable vocal textures and phrasing define Pylon’s sound for most listeners.
