Mobile, Alabama’s ABE PARTRIDGE releases third single and video entitled “Young Love (Alabama Skies)” on February 24, 2023, from his forthcoming LP Love In The Dark (May 12, 2023)

Partridge to tour extensively in the Southeast and Midwest in Spring of 2023

New York, NY—Today Abe Partridge released the third single and video entitled “Young Love (Alabama Skies)” from his upcoming LP Love In The Dark out May 12, 2023, on Baldwin County Public Records and distributed on vinyl, CD and streaming platforms via MRI/Orchard.

Young Love (Alabama Skies)” features Partridge on vocals and guitar; Shawn Byrne on bass, mandolin and slide guitar; and Molly Thomas on harmony vocals.  The video was produced by Partridge and features stop motion animation by Dave Garrett.

Ruminating on the song, Partridge says, “This is a song I wrote about a post-high school, summer-long relationship I had that went deep quickly and ended about as fast. It’s about that kind of love that really only happens in your youth. People identify with it. Folks find ways to tell me their ‘young love’ stories. I tried to capture what it was like to be a kid losing his love to life… growing up, and going different directions.”

Partridge will tour the Southeast and Midwest extensively this spring prior to heading back to the U.K. and Netherlands in June and July of 2023.  His U.S. tour dates are as follows with all dates subject to change.
